Digiquartz® Transducers and Depth Sensors offer high resolution and high accuracy absolute depth measurements to 7000 meters.
They are the key sensors used in:
– tsunami warning systems,
– wave and tide gauges,
– “Inverted Echo Sounders (IES)” systems for the determination of the average sound speed in column of water
– sonar systems “Towed Array” (TOS),
– underwater mapping systems,
– subsea vehicles (e.g. ROV),
– construction and oil platform leveling.
The Absolute Pressure Gauges are used in the dual-purpose Seismic + Oceanic Sensors (SOS) for Ocean Disasters and Geodesy modules.
