The world of oceanography has a lot in common with the world of low-uncertainty measurement. The resolution with which certain parameters need to be measured is incredibly high and the’reliability of measurements it is a critical parameter. An instrument can remain submerged for years with installation and retrieval costs that are often extremely high. Measurement reliability is a fundamental parameter. Thanks to the collaboration with Paroscientific Inc. we can guarantee this level of reliability, which no one else in the world possesses, in depth and pressure measurements. Accredited calibrations.

Our metrology laboratory is accredited for the calibration of pressure instruments. For any other requirement, we collaborate with accredited laboratories in Italy and the rest of Europe to meet any possible calibration request.

Metrology courses.

We care about correct metrological practices. Our training modules were created to meet the demands of companies that intend to train new staff or keep existing staff up to date.

It is possible to enrol in the courses directly online upon registration.

Courses can be in a blended format: online + face-to-face (e.g. practical work in the lab), online only or face-to-face only.

Instrument repair.

If you have any measuring instruments that you intend to repair, send us a request. We can often help you with both mechanical and electronic repairs.

The online form will help you provide us with all the information we need to assess the feasibility of undertaking the repair. The final feasibility will only be communicated after the fault diagnosis has been carried out.
