Depth gauges 8000 Series Submarines Model (8B)
Digiquartz® transducers are integrated into submersible housings as depth sensors. All ranges of depth sensors are available with frequency outputs or with integrated intelligent electronics featuring bidirectional digital communications. Typical application accuracy is better than 0.01%, with parts-per-billion resolution, low power consumption and excellent long-term stability. Intelligent depth sensors with dual RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces allow full remote configuration and control of all operating parameters, including resolution, sampling rate, choice of units of measurement, integration time and sampling requests. Commands include: single-send sampling, synchronised hold sampling, continuous-send sampling and special sampling modes. Other features include support for serial networks
continuous-cycle and multidrop operation, selectable baud rates up to 115,200, high-speed continuous pressure measurements, a “sleep” energy-saving mode, data formatting capabilities, measurement synchronisation with time-based integration, unit identification commands and 2- or 4-wire RS-485 transmission distances exceeding 1 kilometre. All Digiquartz® transducers are covered by a five-year limited warranty, with the first two years covered under the 100% warranty.
