Description
The BGH series base can be used with any BGH series piston to achieve pressure ranges from 1 to 120 bar with the BGH120, 2 to 300 bar with the BGH300, 1 to 700 bar with the BGH700, and 1 to 1200 bar with the BGH1200. All units are simple to operate and the mass sets are fully interchangeable. This means that mass sets for different pressures are easily obtainable and customers with more than one BGH series pressure balance can exchange mass sets between pressure balances of the same range.
The base is equipped with a dual-area screw press that allows low-pressure priming and high-pressure control. The BGH700PCU is a dual-area piston/cylinder unit featuring 1/8″ in² and 1/80″ in² areas. Range changing is fully automated, meaning users have an extremely versatile instrument that covers the entire range with a single piston/cylinder assembly and a single mass set. The low-pressure piston and high-pressure cylinder are made of tungsten carbide, while the other parts are made of fully hardened and stabilised tool steel.
All certificates issued for Budenberg pressure balances are fully traceable to national and international standards via equipment with UKAS calibration certificates.
