Description
The BGP1P portable pressure balance is a completely self-contained primary pressure reference unit. Its ergonomic case contains the piston-cylinder unit, the mass set, the pump, the pressure gauge and the connection hose: everything needed to carry out on-site pressure calibrations with high accuracy.
The BGP1P is equipped with a 1/2 square inch high-carbon chromium steel piston/cylinder unit. The design has been proven over the years to ensure excellent sensitivity and stability. The low pressure of the first measurement point is achieved through the use of a hollow piston and an aluminium head.
NOTE: The BGP1P model can be used in a vacuum with a model 24 adapter for negative gauge pressure calibrations.
Budenberg pressure balances are fully traceable to national and international standards via equipment with UKAS calibration certificates.
The standard accuracy, without corrections for the effective area, is 0.02% from 100 to 1000 mbar and 0.04% from 15 to 100 mbar. Class A models with improved accuracy are available (supplied with UKAS calibration certificates (for area and mass)) which enable an accuracy of 0.006% to be achieved.
